The timber decking of many older homes tends to rot and warp over time, making maintenance a major headache. In this renovation project, we have completely resolved this issue for the homeowner.

We removed the original cracked wooden planks while preserving and reinforcing the underlying load-bearing frame. To meet the homeowner’s needs, we significantly expanded the decking area outward. For the deck boards, we opted for brown composite decking—a material that is sun-resistant, rot-proof, and requires no painting, making it very easy to maintain even on rainy days. Now, the previously narrow and cramped old terrace has been transformed into a spacious and cohesive outdoor living area. Whether setting up a dining table or letting the children run around, there is more than enough space!
